Each spring, La Crosse Symphony Orchestra (LSO) hosts a collaborative fundraiser - The Conductor Wannabe Competition - during which five to six community volunteers raise money for both the LSO and a non-profit of their choice. As one of five Conductor Wannabes, Courtney Lokken is representing River City Youth Hockey (RCYH) and vying for a chance to conduct the orchestra by raising the most funds. If she wins, she will conduct while wearing full hockey gear! All funds raised at the movie event and during her campaign will be split equally between LSO and RCYH.
Doors open at 5:00pm with raffles, games, specialty cocktails, and more which you won't want to miss!

After reckless young lawyer Gordon Bombay gets arrested for drunk driving, he must coach a kids hockey team for his community service. Gordon has experience on the ice, but isn't eager to return to hockey, a point hit home by his tense dealings with his own former coach, Jack Reilly. The reluctant Gordon eventually grows to appreciate his team, which includes promising young Charlie Conway, and leads them to take on Reilly's tough players.
