The La Crosse Symphony Orchestra presents: Episode V: Classical Magic which will be shown in the new Rivoli Annex Screening Room located on the 2nd floor of the Rivoli Arts Building.
In 2020, the La Crosse Symphony started filming all of their concerts. We have pulled pieces to create the LSO Film Collection which includes a pre-concert lecture from our very own Maestro Alexander Platt.
The one-hour program, perfect for a relaxing and unique weekend treat, begins with LSO Music Director Alexander Platt providing engaging historical context for the featured compositions. Platt’s insightful introduction transports the audience back to the era in which the pieces were created, enhancing the listening experience before the music unfolds on screen.
