6:00pm  Death Race 2000
8:00pm  Forbidden World

Join us on September 21st as we celebrate the legacy of the one and only "King of Cult Films," Roger Corman!

This Cult Movie Night we are proud to present two of Corman's most notorious and beloved productions, 1975's Death Race 2000 and 1982's Forbidden World. As always, we'll have specialty themed cocktails, buttons for sale, and bonus Roger Corman footage and facts before each film!

Be sure to come back on November 1st as we continue our tribute to Corman with his directorial triumph, 1964's technicolor masterpiece Masque of the Red Death.

Death Race 2000  - In the year 2000, America is a totalitarian regime on the brink of collapse. The most popular sport in this dystopia is the Transcontinental Road Race, where teams earn points for logging the fastest time and for mowing over the most innocent pedestrians in the process. This year's competitors include Frankenstein (David Carradine), who is rumored to be more machine than man, and the tough-as-nails "Machine Gun" Joe Viterbo (Sylvester Stallone). "Wacky Racers" meets "Mad Max," like all the best b-movies, Death Race 2000 deserves to be seen big, loud, and with a crowd!

Forbidden World - In the distant future, a federation marshal arrives at a research lab on a remote planet where a genetic experiment has gotten loose and begins feeding on the dwindling scientific group. Originally titled Mutant, the film received three nominations for the 1983 Saturn Awards: Best Low Budget Film, Best Make-up and Best Special Effects. Part Lawrence of Arabia in outer space, part Alien rip-off, Forbidden World is 77 minutes of pure "must be seen to be believed" sci-fi horror!
